Truck crash sees cars showered in debris
A massive clean-up effort is underway following a truck crash on a motorway in Brisbane’s northeast.
Just after 10:30am this morning, a truck struck a concrete barrier travelling southbound on the Gateway Motorway.
The crash caused up to nine cars travelling underneath the bridge on Lavarack Ave to be covered in plasterboard.
Truck has lost its plasterboard load southbound on Gateway Motorway just short of the Bridge. Lavarack Ave eastbound is blocked. Emergency Services on scene. Never have i been so glad of off-street parking. #bnetraffic pic.twitter.com/YCOje6a9IV

A clean-up is now underway and police are urging motorists to stay away from the area.
Some southbound lanes of the motorway have been closed.
Unbelievably, no one was injured.
