2GB wins big at the Australian Commercial Radio Awards
2GB is celebrating a very successful night at the Australian Commercial Radio Awards (ACRAs).
More than 1000 people from across the industry gathered at the Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre for the 30th annual running of the awards.
Aussie musicians Conrad Sewell, Amy Shark and Vera Blue performed but the night belonged to those hard-working people behind the mic and behind the scenes who bring radio to life.
Sydney Live host Ben Fordham was named Best Talk Presenter for the fourth time and was also awarded the prestigious Brian White Award for Radio Journalism.

Ray Hadley’s Continuous Call Team picked up Best On-Air Team (AM).
Ray was on hand to receive the award and thanked his colleagues Bob Fulton, Darryl Brohman, David Morrow, Erin Molan, Mark Levy, Mark Riddell and more.

After 28 years as the Executive Producer of the Alan Jones Breakfast Show, Paul Christenson was recognised as the Best Show Producer – Talk/Current Affairs.
2GB News Director Erin Maher picked up the gong for Best AM Newsreader.
Elsewhere on the Macquarie Media Network, 3AW Mornings host Neil Mitchell won Best Current Affairs Presenter, bringing his ACRA award-winning total to 21.
