A woman is dead after jumping off Centrepoint Tower
A woman has died after jumping off Centrepoint Tower in Sydney’s CBD
Police have confirmed a person died on the corner of Castlereagh and Market Streets at around 2.45pm.
NSW Ambulance was also at the scene after reports a person was threatening self-harm.
There are reports she jumped while on the Sky Deck attraction
Paramedics are treating several witnesses for shock.
Centrepoint Tower was closed to the public.
A major police investigation into how the incident occurred is now underway.
