AEC Commissioner hits out at voting ‘conspiracy theories’
Australian Electoral Commissioner Tom Rogers has criticised the “conspiracy theories” surrounding the Voice to Parliament ballot voting, asserting that a “very simple Yes or No” response is all that’s required.
Rogers stated that only a Yes or No response is necessary, and anything else will be considered an informal vote that will not be counted for either side.
“I urge people if they want their vote to count, to write either No or Yes,” he emphasised.
