A Netflix spin-off show about the crackdown on Australia’s most notorious underworld leaders could be on the cards…

Australian Federal Police Commissioner Reece Kershaw spoke to Ray Hadley about recent arrests in relation to Italian and Asian Organised crime gangs.

66-year-old Chung Chak Lee was extradited to Australia on the weekend to face a charge over the importation of 42kg of drugs in 2012.

Italian organised crime networks have also felt the wrath of the police after multiple arrests of mafia members “pulling the strings” on other criminal gangs.

Ray Hadley: “It was like reading some sort of a novel, or something appearing out of Netflix, when it was first released, but confirmations from you as Commissioner, it’s all real.”

Reece Kershaw: “It is, and I think we did have an offer from Netlfix at one stage!”

Ray Hadley: “Who is going to play Reece Kershaw?”

Reece Kershaw: “Someone probably ugly!”
