All NSW teachers sectors set to strike on June 30
All public and catholic school teachers in NSW are planning to strike next Thursday, June 30.
It will be the first time that both will walk off the job together.
The strike will be for 24 hours to dispute pay and working conditions.

Secretary of the Independent Education Union Mark Northam told Deborah Knight teachers are left with no other choice.
“There’s simply insufficient teachers in the system, and catholic employers will verify that they’re anticipating a 15 per cent shortfall in teachers by the end of this decade,” he said.
“What’s happening now has been a long time coming.”
