Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has become the first foreign leader to address Papua New Guinea’s parliament.

While in the country, he’s expected to sign a new defence agreement with the PNG.

Mr Albanese has reflected on the two countries’ shared security, trade and sporting connections, while offering thanks for the team sent to help during the Black Summer bushfires.

Nine News Reporter Charles Croucher joined Joe Hildebrand with the latest on the Prime Minister’s trip to Papua New Guinea.
