Australian music icon Kamahl has spoken out following an ‘offensive and racist’ tweet by ABC broadcaster Phillip Adams.

Kamahl told Joe Hildebrand he’s been getting messages like this all of his life.

“I think Phillip might be after shock value. He wanted to put me in my place and demean me.”
