Young Aussie artist Tate Sheridan couldn’t believe his luck when Elton John took him under his wing and helped kickstart his musical career.

He first caught Elton’s ear in 2012, and got to perform as the opening act on Elton John’s Australian tour a few years ago.

Tate Sheridan told Deborah Knight  he has kept in touch with him all through Covid, and has been nothing but supportive.

“I’m just so incredibly grateful to have a legend like Elton John admire my work. It’s like a fairytale.”
