The 2021 census results are out.

Aussies filled out the survey last August, and interesting data has been released.

The number of millennials has increased to almost match the number of baby boomers.

In the last 10 years, millennials have increased from 20.4% of the population to 21.5%.

Baby boomers have gone down from 25.4% to 21.5%.

Almost one-third of Australians have a long-term health condition.

Mental health is the most common illness, impacting 1 in 10.

For the first time more than 1 million families have a single parent, in 4 out of 5 of cases, the single parent is the mother.

The number of Australians describing themselves as “non-religious” has risen to 40%.

More than a quarter of Australians were born overseas.
