Australian volleyball legend set to mentor young star
Australian beach volleyball legend Natalie Cook is one of six sporting icons selected to mentor a new crop of promising young athletes.
The Sporting Australia Hall of Fame Scholarships program is a vision to preserve and celebrate the history of Australian Sport and inspire all Australians to achieve their potential both in sport and life.
Nat Cook will be the mentor of World Cup Hockey bronze medallist and Commonwealth Games silver medallist, 18-year-old Claire Colwill from QLD.
Cook told Deborah Knight the mentorship she will be offering will focus on “creating a balance”.
“She will discover and uncover her own journey.”
Steve Waugh, Sharon Buchanan, Barton Lynch, Leisel Jones and Luc Longley are the other mentors with Sporting Australia Hall of Fame.
