Australia’s mission to ‘defend space’ as new Defence command launched
A new Australian defence force has been established to shore up our presence in space.
The Defence Space Command brings together personnel from the air force, the navy and the army to develop Australia’s military space capabilities.
Space Industry Association CEO James Brown told Deborah Knight it has a smaller capacity than allied countries.
“We need to make sure we can defend space and protect our assets.”
