Australia Post has put its foot down as the situation in Alice Springs gets worse.

They’ve suspended deliveries to hundreds of homes and it comes after one of their veteran posties was violently attacked.

Australia Post says: “Australia Post provides advice to its delivery personnel on how to minimise the risk of an incident.Where necessary this can include suspending delivery of mail where there is risk of harm to personnel from an incident”.

“Things are now so bad – the posties refuse to deliver the mail!” Ben said.
