Be aware as mouse infestations are BACK in rural NSW
More and more farmers have been reporting mice infestations as of late, two years after a plague devastated large parts of Australia’s south east.
In 2021, the plague devastated crops across regional and rural NSW, damaged equipment and took a heavy mental toll on farmers, now we could have a repeat.
“The mice have had a friendly Autumn and their litters are surviving really well, to where there’s now thousands rushing around,” Xavier Martin from the NSW Famers Federation told Michael McLaren.
“I’m optimistic that people are keeping an eye out, the important thing is for farmers to measure using chew cards.”
