Beanies For Brain Cancer’s colossal contribution
The Mark Hughes foundation is making a huge contribution to critical research, education and healthcare improvements as the NRL’s Beanies for Brain Cancer round kicks off.
The foundation has committed $15 million over five years for a dedicated brain cancer research team at the University of Newcastle.
“This is a game changer for brain cancer and we’re so excited to be announcing this today and to keep accelerating our efforts to find a cure for brain cancer,” Mark Hughes told Mark Levy.
2GB Listener Marcia also joined Mornings to share a touching story about losing her husband to brain cancer two and a half years ago.
NRL Fans and 2GB listeners can support Beanies for Brain Cancer this week buy buying their beanies online or at this weekend’s games.
