Ben Fordham blasts rail union boss plunging Sydney into chaos
Ben Fordham is calling out the Rail, Tram and Bus Union boss as they go ahead with planned industrial action tomorrow.
Sydneysiders are being told to stay at home tomorrow, with foreign-made trains to be taken out of service as part of official strike action.
An upgrade to the train fleet will cost $1 billion, including the cost of installing an extra door to each train and replacing the cameras.
“The unions are finding any excuse to cancel services,” Ben Fordham said.
“They’re literally withdrawing trains if they find chewing gum on a seat.
“And the union boss, Alex Claassens, he is the chewing gum on the backside of Sydney right now.”
