Ben Fordham is urging for calm as a new variant of COVID has raised the eyebrows of health experts.

The World Health Organisation is raising the alarm over BA 2.75 and it’s been nicknamed “Centaurus”.

The new strain seems to be slightly more contagious than previous strains.

“I suppose we’re all meant to be scared but the majority of Australians are determined not to be,” Ben said.

“If you want to wear a mask – wear one, if you want to stay inside – go for your life, we live in a free country and we can do what we want.

“But don’t make others feel guilty for wanting to get on with their lives.”
