Ben Fordham is calling on worker visas to be fast-tracked as farmers warn of grocery price hikes.

The farm sector’s labour crisis will result in less food being planted and higher prices at the supermarket.

There are about 170,000 missing workers across the food production chain.

“If you don’t fix the staff shortages you’re adding to the price of what we’re buying,” Ben said.
