Ben Fordham calls out MP’s flood ‘low blow’
A scathing NSW parliamentary inquiry into the state’s deadly floods found the information from the Bureau of Meteorology and NSW SES was “incorrect and out of date”.
Labor’s Walt Secord chaired the inquiry, suggesting government agencies treated the floods as a “nine to five business”.
“I think that’s a low blow to say that,” Ben Fordham said.
“We shouldn’t be suggesting that emergency services were doing anything but their best in the middle of what was an unprecedented crisis.”
