Ben Fordham has caught up with former 2GB host Glenn Wheeler.

In 2015, Glenn was struck by a car while riding his scooter at Woolooware, leaving him with devasting brain injuries.

Ben visited him in an aged care facility where Glenn is staying temporarily while his wife takes a holiday.

“That famous Glenn Wheeler personality was there in every respect when I caught up with him today,” Ben said.

“Life hasn’t been easy for him but he’s still smiling and he’s still laughing.”
