Ben Fordham grills Andrew ‘Twiggy’ Forrest on green energy push
Mining magnate Andrew ‘Twiggy’ Forrest says Australia must transition to green energy as the world commits to net zero by 2050.
The Fortescue Metals CEO urged Scott Morrison to join him in attending the Glasgow Climate Council.
Mr Forrest told Ben Fordham hydrogen exports could dwarf Australia’s current gas, oil and coal exports.
“I think other countries are all transitioning away from coal, oil and gas.
“Everyone is moving, Australia must move too!
“Clinging to a dying industry will do no one in NSW or Australia any good at all.”
“Is it really dying, Twiggy?” Ben shot back.
