Government Services Minister, Bill Shorten, has dismissed suggestions that the Federal Government is operating a ‘protection racket’ for Qantas after Qatar Airways’ attempts to introduce additional services into Australia were blocked.

“It’s not wrong to want to prioritise Australian interests,” he said.
