Bill Shorten’s warning to scammers amid $3.3m NDIS fraud charge
The Minister for Disability Bill Shorten has weighed in on three men being charged with defrauding the NDIS and has provided a warning.
Minister Shorten has told Ray Hadley, the three men will face court later this year after scamming $3.3m.
The three men purchased a business purporting to be a provider for the disabled and proceeded to submit fake claims for the NDIS that were never provided.
“I would just say to people currently who are ripping off the system, one of your employees or one of your neighbours is going to dob you in.”
