Bird expert backs ibis as official mascot for Brisbane Olympics

The ibis could be considered as a potential mascot for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic Games.
Queensland Sports Minister Stirling Hinchliffe put the option forward, yesterday declaring he has a “soft touch” for the iconic bird.
Bird expert Grainne Cleary told Ben Fordham it’s a wonderful choice!
