A man has been taken into custody and another man is fighting for his life following a stabbing in Sydney’s south-west.

Emergency services arrived at a Bossley Park hair salon this afternoon, finding a man in his 20’s with a single stab wound to the chest.

He was rushed to Liverpool Hospital in a critical condition where he is undergoing emergency surgery.

Police are treating the incident as targeted.

Officers then attended a house at Bossley Park where they arrested and took a man to Fairfield Police Station to assist with inquiries.

Police tape surrounds the property and officers have been seen carrying evidence bags to their vehicles.
