A Liberal MP says he has no confidence in the Albanese government to ensure the safety of Australians while allowing Gazan refugees into the country.

Julian Leeser also hit out at Labor MPs such as Zeli Steggle. calling her a “bottom-dweller” after she accused Peter Dutton of being racist for his push to ban Gazan refugees.

“We can’t go around risking our security at the moment, and what the Prime Minister is doing … just undermines any confidence that Australians have that this man and his government is keeping Australians safe,” he told Michael McLaren.
