Brand new airport set to open in Western Sydney
The Western Sydney Airport is due to open in 2026 and is starting to take shape.
The airport has been officially named the Nancy-Bird Walton Airport.
Not only will this airport have domestic and eventually international flights, it will be treated as a freight hub.
9News Reporter, Eddy Meyer, told Chris O’Keefe on 2GB Drive, “The baggage system they’re using is the first of its kind in Australia.”
