Legendary Australian entertainer, Barry Humphries, has been readmitted to hospital, just a few days after being discharged.

The 89-year-old comedian was originally admitted to hospital after falling at his home and breaking a hip, now his health has worsened.

Humphries revealed in an interview with the Sydney Morning Herald last month that he’d been in “agony” since breaking his hip.

“I was reaching for a book, my foot got caught on a rug or something, and down I went,” he explained.
