Warehouse blaze brought under control as facility’s history uncovered

More than two dozen fire trucks have worked to control a fire inside a chemical storage warehouse in western Sydney.
28 firetrucks are responding to the blaze at Cleanaway Liquid Waste facility in Christie St, St Marys.
Ben Fordham Live has revealed this is the second fire the company has had in the last six months, with the first at their Glendenning site.
They have been fined multiple times by the Environment Protection Agency.
Fire and Rescue Superintendent Adam Dewberry told Ben Fordham the fire has been brought under control.
A worker has been flown to hospital with burns and remains in a serious condition.

Earlier, Whalan resident Bob told Ben “a series of rumblings and explosions” can be heard.
“Massive amounts of jet-black smoke is now stretching for kilometres.”
