More than 53,000 positive RAT results reported in NSW
More than 53,000 people have registered their positive RAT since it became available on the Service NSW app this morning.
The registration is mandatory from today, with residents encouraged to report positive tests from January 1.
$1000 fines apply for those who fail to register their positive results from next week.
NSW has reported 21 COVID deaths in the last 24 hours.
Customer Service Minister Victor Dominello told Chris O’Keefe 53,909 positive tests have been uploaded since 9am.
“Of that number 34,249 have registered with covid in the last seven days … the other third have come from January 1 on.”
