The Voice referendum has been defeated as all 6 states cast a majority of ‘No’ votes, sealing the outcome.

New South Wales, Tasmania, South Australia, Queensland, Victoria and Western Australia all voted ‘No’, with just the ACT supporting the proposal.

Shortly after the result was declared, Warren Mundine spoke to John Stanley, giving his insights into the divisive campaign, the role of the current administration, and his hopes for Indigenous communities.

“This racial abuse that has happened in this campaign. I believe the Prime Minister has opened it up to that” said Mundine.
