Calls for Premier to intervene amid outrage over bail fail
NSW Labor is calling on the Premier to review the state’s bail laws after a convicted killer was released.
Christopher O’Brien was granted bail after he was caught on CCTV allegedly stomping on a man’s head in a Sydney bar.
NSW Labor police spokesperson Walt Secord told Mark Levy the Premier needs to review the state’s bail laws.
“You shouldn’t get bail if you’re a convicted murderer.”
