Police are searching for a man who stole a mobility scooter from Ultimo at the weekend.

An 82-year-old man parked the red mobility scooter outside his home on Macarthur Street and later noticed it was missing.

Police have released CCTV vision in search of the thief.

The man depicted is described as being of Caucasian appearance, of slim build and wearing a white jumper, long blue pants, white sneakers and a motocross helmet.
