Today the new Commissioner of Fire and Rescue NSW, Jeremy Fewtrell, discussed the need for more education around lithium-ion batteries, used in products like e-bikes.

To find out what the major issues are with these batteries, and why we don’t seem to have the education required, John Stanley spoke with Dr Matthew Priestley, the Lead Technology Translator in the Energy Systems Research Group within the School of Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications at the University of NSW.
