NSW Labor leader’s calls to rail union boss going unanswered
NSW Labor Leader Chris Minns has admitted Rail Union Secretary Alex Claassens hasn’t been picking up his phone calls.
Mr Claassens has been accused of using the ongoing train strikes as a political weapon to help Labor get elected.
But Mr Minns has rejected that, condemning the strikes.
He told Ben Fordham he has tried to get in touch with the rail union boss.
“I’ve tried to call him, obviously I have.
“I can’t speculate [on why he won’t pick up], obviously he’s in the middle of negotiations with the NSW government.”
