Chris O’Keefe has weighed in on on the withdrawal of Labor’s Monaro candidate, Terry Campese, from the state election following media scrutiny.

Mr Campese said he has come to realise politics is “not about representing people but about their own power, with a ‘win at all costs’ mentality”.

Chris was critical of the comments, noting Mr Campese’s former football career.

“You should know what ‘win at all costs’ looks like,” he said.

“All you have to do is watch politics for two seconds to realise that a knife in the back comes with the territory.”
