When in Ireland, one must visit the local pub.

But not just the ones on the main drags, Chris Smith says. You need to go where the locals go.

Chris Smith headed to the Hole in the Wall pub in Kilkenny for a pint.

There, he saw someone he certainly didn’t expect to see.

Behind the bar was a young lady called Alison who spotted Chris and said immediately, “You’re Chris Smith!”

“She said, ‘My mother sent me an email last night, my mother is in Australia'”.

Alison went on to say, “‘I’m here working at the pub and she told me that Chris Smith may come into the Hole in the Wall’.

The surprises didn’t end there. Chris also found a man who could also play the didgeridoo.
