Chris Smith’s former producer has had a very unique career change.

Stephanie Coombes left 2GB and went on to become Miss Sake Australia (complete with the sash), of all things!

She tells Chris she took a year away from the media to learn Japanese and embrace the culture.

And on the famous drink, Steph says Aussies are drinking sake all wrong.

“So a lot of people who had their first experience with it have tried something and they haven’t enjoyed it at all.

“Once you open the bottle it’s like wine, it goes off.”

She explains the different types of Sake and tells us how it should be drunk.
