Sydney’s musical scene continues its run of Disney classics with Cinderella moving into the Sydney Lyric Theatre.

Rodgers + Hammerstein’s ‘Cinderella’ combines the story’s classic elements, with the glass slippers, a beautiful masked ball and some surprising twists.

Australian performer Silvie Paladino, who plays the Fairy Godmother, told Deborah Knight it’s been a joy to watch the crowd’s reaction.

“The audiences have been wild in Sydney, people seem to be enjoying it here more than anywhere else.”

“They are laughing and applauding, and the children who come with their wands and princess dresses are such a joy.”
