Classic Australian book celebrates its 100th birthday
One of Australia’s most well-known books is getting a revamp ahead of its 100th anniversary.
The Magic Pudding, written and illustrated by Norman Lindsay, is an Aussie classic.
This month, the tale turns 100 years old and a new edition has been released – along with letters between Norman and publisher Angus and Robertson.
Norman’s granddaughter Helen Grad tells Chris Smith her famous relative was “an extraordinary dynamo of creativity”.
Helen reveals what inspired Norman to write the children’s story and why it’s still a favourite.
