Cody Walker is set to coach and play for the Indigenous All Stars this Saturday at 3:45 pm and he expresses his eagerness for his nephew Daine Laurie to join him on his debut.

Rugby League star shared with Mat Thompson that he has close family members in the All Stars team, including Danine Laurie.

“I actually grew up with young Daine Laurie, he’s my nephew [and] I’ve known him since he was one or two years of age, so it’s obviously pretty special share this journey with him on his debut, playing the knockout every year with him with our family team.”

“Funnily enough,  I’ve got relatives from the 1973 team that [is] over here and my nan’s brothers are in it.”
