‘Come From Away’ producer ecstatic with Broadway back on the horizon for Sydney
Come From Away has had an unlucky run, shut down by lockdowns in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney over the course of the year, but at long last the musical’s Sydney reopening is in sight.
Producer Rodney Rigby told Jim Wilson the production employs 60 people, but creates jobs for over 400 others every week it runs.
“Our employees … have been stood down and out of work without pay for more weeks than they have been in work.
“Having the light at the [end of the] tunnel is fantastic.”
