Company tax cuts: ‘I think you could turn this into a solid deal’
In a bid to get remaining Senators on board with company tax cuts the Business Council of Australia, along with 10 of the nation’s top CEOs, have pledged to invest more in Australia.
Ben Fordham has called the move a “half-hearted response to what needs to be a serious pact between companies and their employees”.
Former President of the Business Council of Australia Tony Shepherd says it could work.
“I’ve spoken to most major business… they’ve all indicated to me that they would be prepared to enter such a pact.
“I think you could turn this into a solid deal.”
