The Federal Opposition Leader has warned the move to renewable energy will have severe consequences for Australia.

The Albanese government has  made cutting emissions and reducing fossil fuels a major part of its climate change policy.

Peter Dutton told Ray Hadley we can’t go down the path other countries have taken.

“We have seen rolling blackouts in California, in the United Kingdom and Europe they are talking about not being able to afford winter heating.

“The country will go broke if we do this too quickly, we just don’t have the technology to do it.”
