North Queensland Cowboys Halfback Chad Townsend stated the team’s “consistency” is what has made them a threat in the NRL finals.

The squad before the start of the season were listed as potential wooden spooners.

Townsend said: “Todd’s been really lucky enough to name the same 17 every week”.
