Dairy company sees massive spike in share price
Dairy company, a2 milk, is certainly a success story.
The company’s current share price is over 12 times what it was in 2015, with their stocks now trading at $12.10.
a2 has recently done a deal with one of the largest companies in the world, New Zealand’s dairy giant Fonterra.
Peter Nathan, CEO of Asia Pacific a2, tells Ross Greenwood the deal will increase access to more markets.
“It enables us to potentially launch a2 cheese and a2 butter using the high-quality infrastructure Fonterra has.
“We’ve announced a licence deal to launch a2 in New Zealand. Although we started in New Zealand most of our business has been in Australia.
“We’re extremely happy with the outcome of this deal.”
