The major infrastructure project for the Northern Beaches Link has caused angst and frustration for a Balgowlah local.

Phillipa Cave’s parents’ house is currently in the process of getting acquired by the government for the bungled Beaches Link.

With the recent delays announced there is a cause for confusion.

Phillipa’s Mum and Dad were told to conclude negotiations with them by May otherwise the house would be taken for any price they deem suitable.

Ms Cave told Jim Wilson there needs to be “clear messaging” from the government.

“We want the market value.”
