Australia’s Ashes line-up has been revealed, and most positions all but confirmed.

Opening batsman David Warner has welcomed being partnered with incumbent Marcus Harris.

“I’m glad that no one really quoted me this time, because ultimately it’s the selectors’ decision,” he told Mark Levy and Candice Warner.

“He scored a lot of runs the last three years, he’s had a taste of Test match cricket, he’s a very very good player.

“We’ve got obviously two left-hand batters opening the batting against a world-class attack, so I know he’ll be pumped – I’m pumped.”
