Deputy Liberal leader shocked and distressed by threats made against Jacinta Price
The Deputy Liberal leader Sussan Ley said the threats made against Jacinta Price were distressing and have no place in Australian discourse as the referendum ramps up.
Price caught the ire of many after comments saying colonisation had been a positive thing for Indigenous Australians, which led to unsavory comments and even death threats against the Indigenous senator.
In response, Ley said this was all a result of how Anthony Albanese’s referendum push have shifted the national discourse.
