ABC has announced a major overhaul that will result in two divisions: news and content, a move expected to end in job losses across the organisation. 

Regional journalists will be transferred to the news division, while radio networks will join TV in the content division.

ABC defended the decision as a “necessary [move] to adapt to the digital world”.

Ray Hadley has hit back at the ABC in response, saying: “People who worked for the ABC would be turning in their graves at what the ABC now is.”
